Sibyl Teague – print making

Artist Summary: Poncha Springs artist Sibyl Teague has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a major in painting from the University of Michigan. She now currently working as a printmaker. Her current mediums of choice are Monotypes, collagraphs and solar etchings done on an etching press, or with a gelatin plate, and mixed media (using some monotypes images, watercolor, colored pencil & ink).

She loves the exciting colors and textures that come from the printmaking process. Her art is expressive, and her favorite subjects are animals, particularly horses.

She is a member of the Arkansas Valley Art Center. She shows regularly in the annual juried National Small Print Show in Creede, Colorado, and at shows in Buena Vista, Colorado. She is represented in Salida by Art Matters Gallery.
